Located walking distance from the Harrison PATH Station, Charley is a cozy neighborhood hangout offering a unique take on classic American cuisine. Featured in Vogue and The New York Times, Charley has solidified itself as a must try experience that puts an emphasis on engaging with the community. Its eye-catching aesthetics and great selection of food and drink creates a winning ambiance that will leave you wanting seconds.
Named after Urby CEO David Barry’s son, Charley evokes a sense of togetherness and family ties. Friendly and helpful staff are always on call to go above and beyond, providing a warm, inviting, and relaxed experience. Placed in the center of Harrison Urby’s three-building, 1,100 resident community, Charley serves as a delicious getaway for Urby residents and locals.

Bottomless brunch is a new addition to Charleys’ already extensive menu. Guests can now enjoy dishes like eggs benedict, French toast, truffle omelets, and a fan favorite chicken and waffles. To wash it down, Charley also offers unlimited mimosas, bellinis, and frose to get the juices flowing. Charley also features classic Happy Hour, Tuesday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm, with deals on bar menu favorites like hot pretzels, sliders, and delicious buffalo wings. Guests will also find reduced pricing on select house wines, beers, and cocktails, making Charley the place to unwind after a grueling workday.

Charleys’ interior is configured to entertain day to night. The design was inspired by Pan-European coffee-house culture, as seen throughout the cafe-style dining room. Rich velvet and leather banquettes accompany square marble tabletops that cater to a proper sit-down dining experience. A custom light blue Zellige-tiled cocktail bar keeps the vibes right, while round checkered tables mirror the black and white tiled floor creating an optical effect.
Charleys’ walls are lined with classic Werkstätte-style wallpaper and layered with posters that give a sense of history to the space. The interior lighting was designed and curated by Artemis Papadatou of Map Design Studio and features skirt-like fabric pendant lamps from the famous Loos Bar in Vienna, serving flattering light throughout.

In the warmer months, Charley features an array of umbrellas, communal tables, and abundant outdoor seating. During the winter months, guests can get cozy at the enclosed terrace deck with sheepskin strewn chairs, a Bauhaus inspired tile-wall, and a welcoming fireplace.
Regularly scheduled events at Charley such as annual Oktoberfest, monthly Trivia Night, and weekly Charley Party are great times to stop by and share a drink or bite to eat with members of the Harrison community. Located at 202 Angelo Cifelli Drive, Charley Bar and Restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 4pm-10pm and will now be open for Bottomless Brunch every weekend from 11am-4pm. So, whether you live at Urby or not, make Charley your new neighborhood spot.
