Swap More, Worry Less: Inside Navy Yard Urby's Sustainable Clothing Swap

We partnered with Swap Season, Jane Matcha, and Bit Bakery to host a clothing swap experience that invited both residents and locals to rethink how they engage with fashion through sustainability, sharing, and discovery.

Swap Season brought its signature circular fashion concept to a blank canvas at Navy Yard Urby, transforming one of our apartments into a curated marketplace of pre-loved pieces. Our built-in closets were stocked with thoughtfully selected vintage finds and clothing racks were dispersed throughout the apartment with additional wardrobe staples.

The experience was designed as both a swap and a shop, encouraging guests to bring items from their own closets and exchange them for pieces that better fit their current style. It was a simple but impactful way to extend the lifecycle of clothing, reduce waste, and participate in a more sustainable approach to fashion.
Throughout the event, guests sipped fan-favorite matcha from Jane Matcha and enjoyed cookies from Bit Bakery, creating a lively atmosphere for browsing and connection.
